Position: Building Maintenance Intern
Duration: 35 hrs/week for 8 weeks
Offer: Conditional upon government funding approval
Requirements:
Age: 15-30 at the start of employment
Provide 2 references
Undergo Vulnerable Sector Screening
Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for employment duration

Responsibilities:
Building Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections to identify and promptly address maintenance issues
Perform minor repairs, including fixing leaks, changing light bulbs, and repairing doors/windows
Coordinate and oversee major repairs with external contractors as needed

Cleaning and Sanitation:
Ensure cleanliness in common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces
Manage waste disposal and recycling programs

Groundskeeping:
Oversee landscaping duties to maintain an attractive exterior appearance
