Position: City Kids Intern
Duration: 35 hrs/week for 8 weeks
Offer: Conditional upon government funding approval

Requirements:
Age: 15-30 at the start of employment
Provide 2 references
Undergo Vulnerable Sector Screening
Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee protection under Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for employment duration

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute City Kids programs enhancing children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
Lead classroom activities, including storytelling, singing, and creative expression through art, play, music, and physical activities
Maintain a secure, healthy environment for children's well-being
Assess children's abilities, interests, and needs, communicating progress or issues with parents and City Kids staff
Engage children in mission-aligned activities, discussions, and crafts
Coordinate drop-in events promoting wellness, leadership, and social engagement
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of classrooms and supporting areas
Attend meetings, contribute to administrative tasks, and assist in City Kids Camp planning
Contribute to Sunday morning activities and discussions
Manage weekly newsletters, social media posts, and other family connection initiatives
Assist in various projects and responsibilities as assigned
